I have the Yahoo Wider Mail and Yahoo Search Extensions installed and turned on in Google Chrome. Those extensions have given me the "Wider Email" view in Yahoo Mail for a decade years, until December 2022, at the cost of having Yahoo as my browser's default search engine. Since January 2023, any attempt to hide the advertising pane on the right side of the screen will prompt me to subscribe to Yahoo Mail Plus at $5/month, with a free trial. Please return the Wider Email feature for those who have the extensions installed. Very misleading! Don't waste your time! Message popped up to install this if I need more space on the right side of yahoo mail, so I pressed install. It looks like when I try to hide something with developer tools. And it changed my search engine from Google to yahoo. this is a spam....
It works for me, I have no ads in the side of my mailbox. The only thing that is missing is the search page. Whenever I open a new tab, had my computer set to Yahoo!, the search won't appear. I would recommend to my friends.
